Hirepool 6 Hour
Ok, so maybe the 12 hour was a little too much for some of you, or maybe you don't like riding in the dark. Whatever your reason you will need to come up with a whole new bunch of excuses for not doing the Hirepool 6 Hour. Based around the tracks at Rabbit Island, the 6 hour is another great event that caters for both solo riders and teams of 2 - 4. Its on the 20th June and entry forms are out now.

Hit the road Jack!
I accept that road riding is not for everyone but it's a great way to keep the fitness up over the winter. The odd bit of road racing thrown in also gives you a bit of intensity training. The Star & Garter Winter Series starts on the 23rd of June. The raded 11 ride series is usually held over slightly shorter courses (normally around 40km). Monday Night Training
Remember Tuesday night training that was shifted to Monday and then back to Tuesday? Well its now back on Monday again. You may want to give it a go if night riding is not your thing (just don't let the rest of the guys see you). The Monday night track training sessions are a great way to improve your road bike handling skills in the bunch without the fear of trucks etc. It starts at 6:30pm and costs a gold coin. Lights are not required as the park lights provide ample illumination.

Remember
Our official rides are on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Rollos Locksmith's at 16 Bridge St and Sundays at 7:30am at the Annesbrook roundabout on the grassy area on the left if you are traveling from Richmond. New bikers are always welcome! Check out our rides page for more info.
